The Argentine Kevin Benavides (KTM) won this Sunday the 14th and last stage of the motorcycle category in the 45th edition of the Dakar all-terrain rally and won the race for the second time.
Benavides, who started this last route in second place, 12 seconds behind Australian Toby Price (KTM), took 01:15.17 hours to complete the 136 timed kilometers between Al-Hofuf and Dammam, in Saudi Arabia, leaving Price in third stage place, 55 seconds, with Australian Daniel Sanders (GasGas) second, 35 seconds.
In this way, the Argentine pilot repeats the victory he obtained in 2021, then with Honda, winning this year’s edition of the Dakar by 43 seconds over Price. The American Skyler Howes (Husqvarna) was third, with 05.04 minutes.
