This Tuesday, Sporting and Arouca will compete for a place in the final of the Football League Cup, in Leiria, in the first semifinal of the 16th edition of the competition, starting at 7:45 p.m.
The lions, winners of four trophies, including the last two, in the city of Leiria, seek their seventh presence in the decisive match, against the Arouquenses, debutants at this point in the competition, who seek to become the 11th emblem to reach a final of the League Cup.
The winner of the match will face either FC Porto or Académico de Viseu in the final to be played on Saturday.
Once do Arouca: Thiago, Sylla, Opoku, David Simão, Alan Ruiz, Antony, Basso, Uri, Dabbagh, Weverson and Tiago Esgaio.
Sporting’s eleven: Adán, St. Juste, Coates, Matheus Reis, Ricardo Esgaio, Ugarte, Morita, Nuno Santos, Pote, Edwards and Paulinho.
Substitutes for Arouca: João Valido, Qauresma, Arsénio, Beuno Marques, Moses, Michel, Pedro Moreira, Soro and Galovic.
