Arsenal-PSV Eindhoven Europa League on October 20

The reception of the English club Arsenal to the Dutch PSV Eindhoven, from the second round of Group A of the European Football League, postponed by the funeral ceremonies of Queen Elizabeth II, is scheduled for next Wednesday, October 20, UEFA announced.

The meeting was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was suspended due to: “serious limitations of police resources and organizational problems” in London, because of the national mourning of the British.

“Scheduling the game has been made possible after the Premier League decision to postpone the game between Arsenal and Manchester City, which was scheduled to be played on October 19″explained the officials of the body that governs European football.

Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, after more than 70 years of the longest reign in British history.

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was born on April 21, 1926 in London and became Queen of England in 1952, aged 25, after the death of her father, George VI, who took over when her brother abdicated.

After the death of the monarch, her eldest son, at the age of 73, assumed the functions of king as Charles III.
