Tom Brady, one of the best players in the history of the North American Football League (NFL), announced this Wednesday the end of his career “forever”, after 23 years at the highest level, in which he won the Super Cup seven times Bowl.
“Good morning everyone. I’ll get to the point, I’m gone forever,” the quarterback said in a video posted on social media.
Tom Brady, 45, spent 20 years with the New England Patriots and won six NFL championships during that time. In 2020 he signed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team in which he played the last three seasons and in which he won his last Vince Lombardi trophy.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me. My family, my friends, colleagues and opponents. Thank you all for letting me live my dream, I wouldn’t change a thing,” she said.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned this season to qualify for the NFL play-offs, but ended up being eliminated in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys.
In February 2022, the quarterback had already announced the end of his career, but about a month and a half later, Brady reversed the decision and revealed that he was back on the court. Now, he says the withdrawal is “forever.”
Tom Brady is the only NFL player with more than five championships, he was voted MVP (most valuable player) five times in the finals, three times NFL MVP and still holds several individual records, such as most passes for touchdowns.
