Al-Nassr tied this Friday with Al-Fateh for the Saudi Arabian championship, but the match is marked by Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut in official matches on Saudi soil.
The match started badly for Ronaldo’s team and company, with a goal from an old friend of Portuguese football. Cristian Tello, a former FC Porto player, opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Still in the first half, Anderson Talisca, a former Benfica player, tied the game for Al-Nassr.
At the beginning of the second half, Al-Fateh took the lead again, with a goal from Sofiane Bendebka and, finally, Cristiano Ronaldo scored from a penalty to give Al-Nassr the equalizer and close the result.
The Portuguese international had already scored twice against PSG, for a team that included players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, but the match was not official.
