The Portuguese Football Association released this Thursday the new equipment of the national team, which will be used this year, for example, during the World Cup, which will take place in Qatar in November and December.
The big news is related to the strong presence of green on the home shirt, which symbolizes the national flag diagonally. The “Dress the Flag” concept also includes the armillary sphere on the rear collar. Green will also be the color of the shorts.
In the away kit, white is the dominant color, but with a green and red stripe, also in the style of the national flag. Still, the blue that symbolizes the Portuguese Atlantic coast will be present on the sleeves and socks.
75% of the entire Portuguese national team collection is made from 100% recycled polyester.
The new equipment will be available for purchase in the Portugal Store from this Thursday.
