Sporting de Braga beat Famalicão 4-1 this Saturday, with a bis from the reinforcement Bruma, in a game of the 19th round of the 1st Football League in which the Braga had a great finish.
After Wednesday’s defeat in Alvalade, against Sporting (5-0), Artur Jorge’s eleven returned to winning ways with goals from Mihaj (22 minutes, own goal), Banza (79) and Bruma (90+1 and 90+ 3), Sanca’s goal was worthless, even giving Famalicão a draw (71).
Braga passes, on condition, in second place FC Porto, which receives Vizela today.
Famalicão, who came out of the best period of the season with three wins in the last five rounds, fought but was not determined enough to attack.
The game was balanced and the result only increased in added time, with Bruma, in absolute debut, unbalanced in individual games.
Sporting de Braga returned to the 4x4x2, but still without Ricardo Horta, who did not recover from injury, and the team entered the game better, even if the first big opportunity belonged to Famalicão, with Jhonder badly in an excellent position .
The first goal came in the 22nd minute: a cross from Victor Gómez from the right and Mihaj, trying to intercept him, shot the ball into his own goal.
The game was lukewarm, with rare motifs of interest, but with more signs of Braga.
At the start of the second half, Famalicão showed willingness to tie the game, but with the exception of Dobre’s attack on the left, they were unable to create any real danger.
Artur Jorge introduced two winter reinforcements – Pizzi and Bruma – at the hour mark and João Pedro Sousa responded with a triple substitution 10 minutes later, with Gustavo Assunção, Pablo and Sanca. And he was happier with the draw that came moments later through a player he brought in.
Penetra crossed from the right, Paulo Oliveira made a poor cut and Sanca, at the far post, scored the goal for Famalicenses (71 minutes).
Sporting de Braga reacted well and took the lead again after a nice collective action, with the emphasis on the combination of Victor Gomes and Pizzi and the help of the Spanish side to put Banza aside (79 minutes).
The third and fourth goals, both from Bruma, came in extra time: first into the ‘heart’ of the box, the winger capped off another good attacking performance by the Arsenal players, with Pizzi back in play, and the second, then individual play, with unfortunate ‘cooperation’ from goalkeeper Luiz Júnior.
