The president of the national soccer champion FC Porto, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, bought another 7,590 shares of SAD from the ‘dragões’, the company reported on Tuesday, in a note sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
In an operation spread over two days, which involved a total of 7,509.70 euros, Pinto da Costa began by investing in 2,800 shares valued at a unit price of 92 cents, on January 4, having bought another 4,790 shares for 1.03 euros , on February 2 .
The president of FC Porto slightly strengthened his position in SAD, after having already acquired another 7,248 shares for 6,623.20 euros in the last two months of 2022.
According to the company’s latest report and accounts, relating to the 2021/22 season, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, 85, owned 313,556 shares, corresponding to 1.39% of his position, going on to have 328,394 shares with the two last operations.
The majority of FC Porto’s SAD belongs to the club (75.99%), while the businessman, ex-soccer player and ex-coach António Oliveira is the main individual shareholder (7.34%), followed by his brother Joaquim Oliveira, through the Olivedesports company (6.68%). .
