The Portuguese Diogo Ribeiro won this Saturday the second gold medal in the junior swimming world championship, in Lima, Peru.
After the gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly, the young Portuguese also won the final of the 50-meter freestyle, with a time of 21.92, ahead of Cypriot Nicolas Antoniou (22.51) and Croatian Gere Hribar (22.55).
Shortly before, the Portuguese swimmer secured his presence in a new final, the 50-meter butterfly, by achieving the third fastest time in the semifinals (23.94).
