Sporting de Braga lost 4-0 on Thursday against the Italians from Fiorentina, in the first leg of the play out access to the Round of 16 of the Europe Conference, complicating the chances of qualifying for the Round of 16 of the competition.
A brace from Serbian Luka Jovic, striker who already played for Benfica, just after the break (45+1) and in the 60th minute, and two goals from Brazilian Arthur Cabral, in the 79th and 90th minutes, sealed the defeat for Braga, who in the second half, when they already lost 1-0, fell one unit short when central defender Vítor Tormena was sent off with a straight red card (55′).
The second leg of this play-off will take place next week in the Italian city of Florence.
