This Friday, Al-Nassr beat Al-Taawon, 2-1, in a match on round 17 of the Saudi Football League, in which the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo made the two passes for the leader’s goals of the competition.
At Mrsool Park, in Riyadh, Abdulrahman Ghareeb opened the scoring for Al-Nassr, in the 17th minute, after receiving a long pass from Ronaldo, who would assist Abdullah Madu (78), already in the second half, with a subtle touch to an easy finish.
Meanwhile, the Spanish Álvaro Medran had restored the tie for the Al-Taawon team, which adds the second defeat in a row, and continues in fifth place in the standings, with 30 points.
Al-Nassr leads the championship, with 40 points, the same as Al-Ittihad, in second place, and Al-Shabab, third, who have one more game played.
