Valongo won this Sunday, for the first time, the Rink Hockey Continental Cup, beating Trissino 2-1, in the decision of the four finalists of the competition held in Follonica, Italy.
In a reissue of the final of the last European League, won by the transalpine team, in May, the Porto team ended up winning with goals from Rafael Bessa, in the seventh minute, from a penalty, and Diogo Abreu, in the 22nd, before that the Portuguese João Pinto reduces Trissino, at 36.
This is the first time that Valongo has won the Continental Cup, joining Benfica, Sporting, FC Porto, Óquei de Barcelos and Oliveirense in the group of Portuguese teams that have already lifted the trophy.
