The Paris Saint-German player Achraf Hakimi was, this Friday, formally accused of rape, after an investigation opened by the French Public Ministry last weekend, the AFP agency advances.
Hakimi, 24, was reportedly questioned by authorities on Thursday. The case goes back to last Saturday, when a woman accused the Moroccan international of having forced several sexual contacts, despite constant requests for him to stop.
The Madrid player, who was a key player in Morocco’s historic run towards the World Cup semifinals in Qatar last year, was seen in PSG training this Friday morning. Contacted by AFP, the club did not comment.
