Aralis Martinez was on the verge of medals in the 60m final. The sprinter drove a brilliant race and equaled the national record. Arialis became the first Portuguese woman to reach a 60m final in European indoor athletics, where she surpassed (and by far) the 13th places of Virgínia Gomes (Lievin 1987) and Bazolo (Glasgow 2019).
