The guarantee is being given by the Brazilian press. In addition to Benfica, the IG Sport portal writes that Beraldo is also followed by Udinese and Watford, two clubs owned by the Pozzo family.
According to the same website, Beraldo recently started the process of issuing an Italian passport, to facilitate a transfer to Europe.
Lucas Beraldo gained space in the most backward sector of the São Paulo team. The youngster has a contract with the Brazilian club until 2026.
