A man was arrested on Monday next to Estádio do Dragão, in Porto, who sold 28 tickets for the FC Porto-Inter Milan match, which takes place tonight, 50 euros above the indicated price, revealed this Tuesday to PSP.
Speaking to Lusa, an official PSP source clarified that, on suspicion of illegally selling tickets to a sports show, the detainee tried to sell tickets for €85 that cost €35.
In addition to the fines, an amount of 690 euros in cash was also seized from the detainee.
FC Porto will receive Inter Milan for the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League, a match for which tickets have been sold out since the first, the ‘blue and white’ team said.
According to a message on the official website of ‘blue white’, some 50,000 spectators are expected for the meeting between the two clubs, three weeks after the Italians won at home (1-0), with a lone goal from Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku.
The detainee, the source said, had previously been detained for committing a similar offense after appearing before judicial authorities on Monday.
