“The person who does not have ethical and moral impartiality in the management of the federation continues, even when outside, at the forefront,” said the judoka, in Parliament, before the Committee on Culture, Communication, Youth and Sports.
The athlete, who also signed the letter criticizing Jorge Fernandes, stressed that on several occasions he arrived at the training camp and the former president was there, considering that this situation had a “great impact” and made it “reduce hope in what may happen “.
For Telma Monteiro, on the other hand, the management of financial resources will continue to be poorly done, but the investment made is not to blame, “quite the contrary,” she guaranteed.
Jorge Fernandes was dismissed at the end of last year by decision of the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth. The Portuguese Judo Federation is still waiting to hold new elections, after a precautionary measure has postponed the decision.
