The Germans of FC Bayern, from Munich, announced this friday the departure of the German coach Julian Nagelsmann, but they have already found a successor: it is also the German Thomas Tuchel.
The 49-year-old coach, formerly of Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Chelsea, signs until June 30, 2025 and directs the first training session next Monday.
Nagelsmann, 35, had arrived in Munich in the summer of 2021 and led the Bavarians to win a championship and two Super Cups.

The process of replacing the team’s leadership was relatively quick, so much so that it took one of the team’s players, the Portuguese João Cancelo, by surprise.
The defender was asked about his replacement this Thursday, after the victory of the Portuguese team over Liechtenstein: “I didn’t know, I’m a little surprised. I want to thank Mr. Nagelsmann because he was the one who wanted me at Bayern, just like the board He caught me off guard. All the luck in the world to him.”
Cancelo also promised to try “to fit the concepts of the new coach as much as possible”.
“We have many important games, we are going to enter the decisive phase of the season. Bayern is a team, individually and collectively, always ready to win everything,” he told SportTV.
Bayern are currently second in the Bundesliga, one point behind Borussia Dortmund, and will face Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinals.
