MotoGP World Championship. Enea Bastinani misses Sunday’s race with a fracture

Italian rider Enea Bastianini (Ducati) will miss the main race of the MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix on Sunday after suffering a fractured right shoulder blade during the sprint race, the team reported.

According to Ducati, Bastianini, who this year replaced Australian Jack Miller in the official team of the Italian brand, will also miss next weekend’s Argentine GP.

Enea Bastianini crashed this Saturday in the second round of the sprint race, after being hit by his compatriot Luca Marini (Ducati).

The Ducati rider was taken to the Portimão hospital, where he was diagnosed with a fractured right shoulder blade.

Ducati has not given a specific date for the return of the transalpine rider to competition, which will be conditioned by the evolution of the injury.
