Chelsea arrive in Portugal next week to try to buy the Algarve club, but they are not the only ones interested. There is also an American group, Mexican investors, Dubai and Qatar. The announcement is made in TSF by the president of Portimonense’s SAD, Rodynei Sampaio, who guarantees that the club is not for sale.
“The intention of the shareholder, together with the administration, is not to sell. Our intention is to increase the club’s structures from next season, because we have a 15-year plan. Our objective is not to sell, but to put Portimonense at a much higher level”, guarantees the president of the SAD of the Algarve club.
It should be remembered that Chelsea has already offered 40 million euros for 75% of Portimonense’s SAD, with the aim of having a club that serves as a launching pad for young footballers with value to bet on in the future.
On the pitch, Portimonense faces FC Porto this Sunday. The president of the SAD de Portimão club says that the goal is to win at least one point at the Estádio do Dragão, denying that the club of the unbeaten team could be more fragile at this stage.
