Two coaches were sacked in the Premier League last weekend alone. Graham Potter left Chelsea and Brendan Rodgers was removed from the helm of Leicester, bringing the number of manager changes this season in the Premier League alone to 13, setting a new record and proving the days when the English league was synonymous with bench stability.
In the Big 5, the English Championship is the championship that most coaches move onto the bench. In addition to Chelsea (goes to third of the season, after Tuchel and Potter) and Leicester also Tottenham (Antonio Conte), Crystal Palace (Patrick Vieira), Southampton (Ralph Hasenhüttl and Nathan Jones), Leeds (Jesse Marsch), Everton (Frank Lampard ), Bournemouth (Scott Parker), Wolverhampton (Bruno Lage), Aston Villa (Steven Gerrard) and Brighton (Andrew Crofts) changed coaches during the season. Among the resistant are the top five (Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle and Manchester United) and Fulham’s Portuguese Marco Silva.
