The three most valuable under-23 footballers outside the top five world leagues (England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France) are Portuguese, according to a study by CIES Observatório do Futebol. Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos leads the arrangement with an estimated worth of 70 million euros, followed by teammate António Silva, central defender who appears to have been quoted at 66 million. In last place on the podium is also central Gonçalo Inácio, from Sporting, who is valued at 62 million euros.
There are also two other players on this list in Portugal, the Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte, from Sporting, who is ranked 13th, with a market value of 25 million, and also the defender Morato, from Benfica, who the 50th place with a listing of 14 million.
