By promoting the “art of welcoming” in sports venues, the initiative, promoted by the APCVD and which will be put into practice by the handball, basketball, soccer, skating and volleyball federations, aims to “contribute to the creation of a great movement of health, coexistence sports”.
Clubs, associations and athletes will share joint photos of the two teams on social networks, alternating the athletes, and fans of both teams will also enter with the refereeing team to deliver the match ball.
There will also be moments of coexistence between fans of both teams, athletes with fans of both clubs, fans of the visiting team with players of the local team.
“The European model of security for sporting events shows that the hospitality component contributes decisively to reducing tensions and hostility, thus increasing security levels,” explains the APCVD.
