Gabriela Dinis, just 18 years old, triumphed in Figueira da Foz and in Porto for the Junior Tour and continued her good moment on the second day of the Joaquim Chaves Saúde Porto Pro, second stage of the MEO Surf League. The Lisbon woman achieved the best score of the day in the women’s competition (12.50 points), after she scheduled a meeting with Carol Mendes in today’s semifinal (call at 7:45).
The other duel for access to the final is an authentic superheat, against Kika Veselko (Junior World Champion) and Teresa Bonvalot (World Tour 1st alternate).
In the men’s competition, Vasco Ribeiro was at the best level and reached the quarter-finals, having achieved the best score of the test (15) and the best wave (8.6). With Guilherme Ribeiro, Arran Strong, Joaquim Chaves, Martim Nunes and Francisco Ordonhas without hesitation, the only surprise was the elimination of Frederico Morais, still in the second round.
