Marcano was sent off with a direct red card and Uribe saw a yellow card that would exclude him from the dragons’ next game. On the Boavista side, Makouta, Yusupha and Salvador will also be left out, all yellowish.

Despite a lively first half at the Estádio do Dragão, there were no goals until the break. With more shots on goal and much more possession of the ball, it was almost always FC Porto that was closest to scoring, especially from Otávio and Evanilson. On the draw side, it was Seba Pérez who threatened the most, but Diogo Costa denied the Colombian’s shot.
After the break there was time for strong protests in the stadium after Taremi saw the yellow card for, Rui Costa understood, having simulated a penalty kick from Yusupha.
Wanting more from the team, Sérgio Conceição launched three new players for the second half: Galeno, Toni Martínez and André Franco, replacing Manafá, Eustáquio and Evanilson. And it was from one of those changes that a penalty ended up being born.
At 57′, André Franco was fouled by Mangas inside the penalty area and Taremi, from 11 meters, did not miss: Bracali finished off from the side, failed to reach the ball and conceded the 1-0.
Despite winning, FC Porto found life difficult soon after, when Mangas fled the Porto defense and prepared to go into isolation. Marcano went after the Portuguese, pulled his shirt still outside the penalty area and, being the last man, saw the direct red. Toni Martínez was sacrificed for the entrance of Fábio Cardoso.
Petit, who had already brought on Gorré, took the opportunity to put Bozeník ahead and prepared an assault on the blue and white goal during the last quarter of an hour of the game. At 82 ‘he reinforced that intention with the addition of Joel Silva and Pedro Malheiro to replace Makouta and Cannon.
And four minutes later, he was almost happy: Bozeník, already almost in the small area, managed to deflect the ball in an almost fatal way, the dragons had not been worth Diogo Costa’s reflexes.
