“After the dislocated shoulder was put back in place at the Angel Nieto circuit medical center in Jerez de la Frontera [Espanha]additional tests carried out at the Jerez de la Frontera hospital on Sunday showed that the damage was greater than expected,” the team wrote on their Twitter account.
According to the same publication, the tests “revealed a small break in the [osso] left shoulder humerus”.
RNF also added that the Portuguese pilot will undergo “further tests this week” but that his presence at the next test, on May 14 in France, will be compromised.
Miguel Oliveira was declared “unfit” by the medical team, but he was able to undergo a new test on the 11th, the Thursday before the French GP.
On Sunday, Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia) left the main race of the Spanish MotoGP Grand Prix after being hit by Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) in the second corner of the race.
