Valongo beat Oliveirense 6-4 this Saturday and will face FC Porto in the final of the Roller Hockey Champions League. After a four-goal draw in 50 minutes, Edo Bosch’s team took the lead after extra time.
Oliveira de Azeméis’s team opened the scoring in the first minute, through Tomás Pereira, but Facu Bridge leveled right after. Nuno Santos came from behind in the second half, with two goals from Tomás Pereira and restoring equality. Diogo Abreu put Valongo back in front, but Lucas Martínez responded immediately for a new tie in the match. Facu Bridge also scored twice and Xavi Cardoso made it 4-4 with which regulation time ended. In extra time, Diogo Abreu scored two more goals and put an end to the discussion.
Thus, Valongo will face FC Porto this Sunday, in the final of the roller hockey Champions League. The match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., at the José Natário pavilion, in Viana do Castelo.
