The Turin team, which hosts Sevilla on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League semifinals, continues with 66 points, two more than Lazio, which lost 2-0 on Saturday at AC Milan.
Napoli, which has already mathematically confirmed the title of champion, continues with 80 points and hosts Fiorentina today at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The defeat keeps Atalanta in sixth place in the table, tied on points (58) with Roma, led by José Mourinho, who also lost at home 2-0 against Inter Milan on Saturday.
