The Spanish centre-back’s goal for the champions came in the last minute of the first half (44th), securing their sixth consecutive win and ninth game without losing in the ‘blue and white’ league, as Arouca, after a run of eight games without losing in the Championship, it added its second consecutive defeat.

With this victory, FC Porto is four points behind commander Benfica, three rounds before the end of the championship, while Arouca appears in fifth place, in the European zone, with 48 points, only one more than sixth, Guimaraes’ victory .
