Inter Milan beat AC Milan 2-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals, with both goals scored in the first 11 minutes of the game.
In the duel that guarantees the presence of an Italian team in the final of the millionaire league, the Nerazzurri scored Dzeko’s first goal, in the eighth minute, after a corner kick from Çalhanoğlu.
Three minutes later, in a play that caught the entire AC Milan defense off balance, Mkhitaryan appeared in the central corridor to take advantage of the disorganization and shoot the final 2-0.
The second leg is scheduled for next Tuesday (May 16). In the other semifinal of the Champions League, played this Tuesday, Real Madrid and Manchester City drew 1-1 in Madrid.
This season’s Champions League final will be played on June 10 in Istanbul.
