Needing only a draw to ensure their permanence, the gilista team, which had gone eight games in a row without winning, did not make it easy and beat the ‘ladies’ with a ‘double’ from Fran Navarro, in the 38th and 64th minute, which allows him to catch up with Taremi in third place among the best scorers, with 16 goals, and a goal by Murilo, at 85, in the penalty conversion.
Boavista, comfortably installed in 10th position and already out of danger for a few days, even drew 1-1, with a goal from Seba Pérez, after 55 minutes.
With this victory, Gil Vicente retains the 14th place in the competition, with 34 points, reaching Portimonense, 13, while Boavista is 10, with 40 points, the same as Casa Pia, ninth.
