Manchester City set this Wednesday the meeting with Inter Milan in the Champions League final after beating Real Madrid, at home, 4-0, with a double by Portuguese Bernardo Silva.
After the 1-1 draw in Madrid, in the first leg of the semifinals, the Portuguese scored the first goal of the game on 23′, after a pass from De Bruyne that left him isolated in the Madrid area.
On minute 36, after Gundogan’s foray into the Spanish area that ended with an incomplete save by Courtois, Bernardo Silva took the opportunity to finish off with a header on an empty goal to make it 2-0.
The third goal of the match came on 75′, a free kick by De Bruyne that the former FC Porto Éder Militão Brazilian deflected into his own net.
After 90′, the rookie Julián Álvarez took advantage of a round pass from Phil Foden to, face to face, with Courtois, deflected to make it 4-0.
With this result, Pep Guardiola’s team reaches the Champions League final for the second time, to be played in Istanbul on June 10, against three-time European champions Inter.
