The Economic and Food Security Authority (ASAE) arrested three people this Sunday for selling false or irregular tickets for the soccer match between Sporting and Benfica, having seized four tickets.
In a statement, ASAE said that the three people were arrested for the crime of speculation, having been charged and subject to Term of Identity and Residence, with notice of appearance before the Judicial Authority.
“Four bills were also seized, with nominal values ranging between 20 and 25 euros, requesting sales values ranging between 100 and 350 euros.”
“ASAE warns consumers that they should avoid buying tickets above their official value, since this sale constitutes a crime of speculation, punishable by imprisonment from 6 months to 3 years and a fine of not less than 100 days,” says the police agency.
The National Criminal Information and Investigation Unit (UNIIC), this Sunday, supervised the speculation and sale of false or irregular tickets for the football match between Sporting Clube de Portugal and Sport Lisboa e Benfica, to be played this Sunday in Lisbon.
