Bayern Munich won the German championship for the 11th time in a row this Saturday. The Bavarians beat Koln to claim the German title thanks to Borussia Dortmund’s home draw against Mainz. Both teams finished the championship with the same points.
In the 34th and last round of the Bundesliga, Kingsley Coman, in minute 8, and Musiala, in minute 89, scored the goals for the Bavarians, with Dejan Ljubicic still tied, in minute 81, from a penalty.
The formation led by Thomas Tuchel ended up surpassing the main competitor in ‘above the goal’, closing the 2022/23 Bundesliga with 71 points, equaling Dortmund, but with an advantage on goal difference (92-38 against 83-44) against Raphaël Guerreiro, who even signed one of the ‘aurinegros’ goals against Mainz.
In the history of the German championship, which has been played since the 1902/03 season, Bayern, in which the Portuguese João Cancelo lines up, already has 24 ‘salad bowls’ than Nuremberg, second in the ranking, with nine.
