FC Porto will file a complaint against David Neres after two episodes of provocation by the Brazilian winger during the celebration of the title won by Benfica. The game.
A year ago, an identical action by the reds against Diogo Costa, Fábio Cardoso, Manafá and Otávio led the disciplinary board of the Portuguese Football Federation to open disciplinary proceedings against the blue and white players, who ultimately missed the Super Cup match Cândido de Oliveira, to Tondela, for punishment.
If the same happens to Neres, the Benfica winger will also miss the Super Cup match, which will be played against the winner of the Portuguese Cup, Sp. Braga or… FC Porto.
During the title celebration, Neres made a live video on Instagram in which he teased Porto player Otávio and also Pedro Gonçalves, from Sporting, with whom he had disagreements throughout the season. The red extreme identified both and wrote “Suck” and “Cry baby”.
At a later date, he commented on a picture of Otávio on Instagram, captioning “Where’s the smile”, prompting a response from the Portugal international: “Win two more times and tie with me, we’re tied in titles in luz”.
Meanwhile, videos have also appeared in which Neres sings: “Suck lizards, suck tripeiros”.
