This Sunday, FC Porto won the Portuguese Football Cup, for the 19th time and the second time in a row, by beating Sporting de Braga 2-0, in the final of the 83rd edition, at the Estádio Nacional, in Oeiras.
The dragons went ahead with an own goal by André Horta, in minute 53, and were left with 10 players, due to the expulsion of Wendell, in minute 62.
Shortly after, Niakaté was also penalized with a red card, in the Minho region, in the 79th minute, before Otávio scored the second goal for the Whites, in the 81st minute.
FC Porto won the trophy for the 19th time, in their 33rd final, while Sporting de Braga recorded their fifth defeat in the decisive games of the Portuguese Cup, which they won three times.
