This Sunday, the Public Security Police (PSP) arrested seven fans and identified another 12 as part of the security plan for the Portuguese Football Cup final, played at the Estádio Nacional, in Oeiras, which FC Porto won.
Of the seven arrested, four were due to defiance and coercion, one of whom was also in possession of a prohibited weapon and the other three for possession of narcotics, an official source of that police force revealed to the Lusa bureau .
The PSP also identified 12 supporters for the possession and explosion of fireworks.
The same source also revealed that the PSP acted in some more tense situations between supporters, but they were promptly “fixed”.
FC Porto won the 19th Portuguese Cup in its history by beating Sporting de Braga 2-0, with an own goal from André Horta (53 minutes) and a goal from Otávio (81).
