Stuttgart ensured its permanence in the German Football League on Monday, after beating Hamburg again (3-1), with a comeback, in the second leg of the play-off for access to the 2023/24 edition of the maximum division.
After the 3-0 in Stuttgart, before the goals of Mavropanos, in the first minute, Vagnoman, in the 51st, and Guirassy, in the 54th, the third classified in the second division had the difficult task of reversing the result in the Volksparkstadion.
The midfielder Sonny Kittel, in 06, even started giving hope to the locals, who once again had the Portuguese Daniel Fernandes between the sticks, but, after the break, the visitors managed the comeback, before two accurate shots from Enzo Milliot (48 and 64), the latter with many fouls for the Portuguese goalkeeper.
The Portuguese forward Tiago Tomás launched himself in the 67th minute for the Stuttgart team, which closed the result with a goal from Silas (90+7).
Hamburg, in a new attempt to return to the Bundesliga, a competition from which it ‘fell’ in 2017/18, has since been fourth on three occasions and third on two occasions [na época passada foi batido pelo Hertha Berlim no play-off].
