The Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico returned this Friday to be sedated by the doctors at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital, in Seville, who are still “waiting for an evolution.”
The 29-year-old tutor had been removed from sedation last Wednesday, but despite being conscious, the Spaniard remains in “serious condition” in the Intensive Care Unit of the Seville hospital.
Rico, a Paris Saint-Germain player, suffered a head injury after falling from his horse during the festival of the Pilgrimage of El Rocío, a town in Andalusia.
He has been hospitalized for 13 days after being stepped on the head by the horse he was riding.
