The English team of Manchester City was proclaimed this Saturday for the first time European soccer champion, by beating the Italians of Inter Milan 1-0, in the final of the 2022/23 edition of the ‘Champions’, in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Spanish Rodri scored, in the 68th minute, served by the Portuguese Bernardo Silva, the goal for the team led by Pep Guardiola, who had already won two titles at FC Barcelona (2008/09 and 2010/11).

City, who appeared in the ‘eleven’ with Rúben Dias and Bernardo Silva, unites the Champions League with the Premier League and the FA Cup, reaching a ‘triple’ that only Manchester United had achieved in England, in 1998/99 .
