Twitter had connection failures during the afternoon of this Tuesday, which caused thousands of Internet users to be unable to use the social network.
The specialized website Downdetector received hundreds of bug notifications in Portugal alone. The first ones started appearing at 19:45 and by 19:17 there were already more than 500 problem records.
In the United States of America, more than 31,000 users complained about failures in the social network. Speaking to Reuters, Twitter said it was “on topic.”
Normality resumed at 7:30 pm, and all features were once again accessible to users.
