A new golden age for portable consoles? Asus’ handheld console, announced on April 1, has in any case won over its audience. The powerful ROG Ally, displayed at 799 euros, was launched on June 13 and the first figures are more than promising.
“It’s huge, especially for a technology that we don’t know,” continues the manager who intends to streamline communication around the product.
A new growing market?
The Asus ROG Ally, which Tech&Co had cherished when it was first delivered, came suddenly to the portable console market led by Nintendo’s Switch. Other manufacturers have also released their own machine: Logitech’s G Cloud and Valve’s SteamDeck.
“We can expect a market to be created,” judge Charlotte Massicault, who also saw a renewed energy from the Switch with the release of the latest Zelda. “Sales increased 10% while we were on a declining product.”
