The owner of Twitter announced the creation of xAI, an artificial intelligence start-up, supposedly to respond to OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, which he considers too “woke”.
Elon Musk takes on a new challenge. After the takeover of Twitter last October, the owner of the blue bird social network announced, on July 12, in a tweet, the creation of xAI, a new company specializing in in artificial intelligence (AI). “We are announcing the creation of X.AI to understand reality,” the Tesla boss said seriously.
The Twitter account links to a site that provides some additional details about the process and promises a space (Twitter discussion) on July 14.
The billionaire had announced his intention to challenge OpenAI and its famous ChatGPT which he considered too “woke”.
