Along with the iPhone 15, Apple presented the iPhone 15 Pro. Like every year, this model centralizes all the brand’s new features. In 2023, Apple changes the material of its device, with a titanium coating that the brand presents as more resistant, and above all lighter. Result: the iPhone 15 Pro weighs 187 g, compared to 206 g for the iPhone 14 Pro. It is available in four colors: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium or finally natural titanium.
“Action” button and x5 zoom
As rumors suggest, Apple is replacing the traditional “Silent” button on its iPhone with a new button, called the “Action” button. The user can thus customize its use according to their preferences, for example to turn on the flashlight, open the device or… silence their iPhone.
Unlike the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which inherit the processor from last year’s Pro generation, the iPhone 15 Pro, like its iPhone Pro Max version, benefits from a new chip, called A17 Pro. It allows The new USB-C port, which replaces the Lightning port, transfers files at a speed of 10 gigabits per second.
The camera is also revised, with 24-megapixel photos by default, captured by a camera module that can go up to 48 megapixels. For its part, the iPhone 15 Pro Max offers a new telephoto lens, capable of offering x5 optical zoom, compared to the x3 of the iPhone 15 Pro. Like the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro benefits from a new Portrait mode, which can be added after taking the photo.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in France on September 22 starting at 1,229 euros for the first (128 GB) and 1,479 euros for the second (256 GB). Prices are down compared to last year.
