A date that is not chosen at random. The union representatives of the Apple Store stores have called a strike in all the brand’s French stores for Friday, September 22, the launch day of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, as well as for Saturday the 23rd, as revealed Release.
This call comes after failed meetings between union representatives and their management, the newspaper details. At the center of the conflict is the issue of employees’ salaries: the unions demand a 7% increase, while the management offers 4.5% and an additional euro in the meal voucher.
“If we stick to what the company offers us, the majority of employees would be revalued below inflation,” laments Albin Voulfow, CFDT national delegate at Apple Retail.
The representatives also call for a demonstration at the Place de l’Opéra, near one of the Apple stores.
