Prime Day is an annual event offered by Amazon to Prime members. The first edition took place in 2015, to celebrate 20 years since Amazon went online and 10 years since Prime. This event returns every year in July and allows all Prime subscribers to find great deals on a wide selection of products. During the first Prime Day, sales exceeded those of Black Friday. Among the products purchased we can mention the different Amazon connected devices, such as the Kindle reader, the Echo connected speakers or the Fire TV Stick. Thanks to Prime Day, Amazon’s voice assistant, namely Alexa, has found its way into many homes. This year, Amazon offers two Prime Days, a great novelty. Indeed, the first 2022 edition took place last July, and the event returns this October 11 for 48 hours. Amazon explains in particular the return of this event to help consumers cope with inflation.
