Become an owner and even a multi-owner. In its new extension “For Rent”, the game The Sims 4 will allow you to experience the sweet life of a pensioner. In Tomarang, a fictional Southeast Asian city, you can build a small real estate empire and savor the (sometimes bitter) joys of rental management, its burgeoning incomes, and its disappointments.
Model Owner
Multi-residential rentals involve a lot of interactions between different residents. To make it more realistic, your Sims now have a new fear: that of being deported. And, evidently, there is no winter holiday in Tomarang: tenants can be evicted with disconcerting ease. “But don’t worry, you can always give someone a second chance,” says the editor.
Above all, you will have to take care of your real estate empire by maintaining your tenants’ homes: broken water heaters, blown fuses… it’s for you. It is up to you to own a model, if you wish.
Now free and downloadable on PC, Mac, Playstation and Xbox, The Sims 4 It currently has fifteen extensions. “For Rent” will be released on December 7 and is available for pre-order now. As for the next game, The Sims 5It doesn’t have a release date yet but should also be free at launch, with paid content.
