Tesla owners will no longer be able to watch Disney+ in their vehicle. The car brand has eliminated the streaming application from the multiple entertainment options it offers in the cabin.
In recent days, Internet users have been surprised by the disappearance of the application on social networks, indicates Mashable. This elimination would be linked to the leak of advertisers from platform X (Twitter). The social network was purchased by Elon Musk – also owner of the car manufacturer Tesla – in October 2022.
A service always accessible despite everything.
For several weeks now, Elon Musk has pointed to Disney as the fall in advertising revenue. The businessman also periodically attacks Bob Iger, the head of Disney, when he talks about the social network’s declining sales volume. The matter took a new turn when the richest man in the world insulted companies that no longer wanted to publish ads on X (Twitter) during a conference.
However, some motorists were surprised to see that Disney+ remained in some of their vehicles. According to Electrek, Tesla informed the streaming service that it was removing the app. But a few days later, the manufacturer clarified that this recall would only be effective for people who have never used Disney+ in their car.
This disappearance does not prevent you from watching the movies and series offered by Disney+. Tesla vehicles have an Internet connection, all you need to do is access the service through your web browser. This method allows us to avoid the repercussions of the dispute between Elon Musk and Bob Iger, the heads of the two entities.
