In an interview with IGN, we discovered Peanut Butter, an adorable shiba who has developed unique abilities that allow him to play video games, and mainly Gyromite. This Nintendo production was initially released in 1985 for the NES.
The practice of speedrunning consists of completing a game as quickly as possible, although certain variations must also be taken into account, such as the number of objectives to reach or whether it is allowed to use errors to go through scenarios. In the case of Peanut Butter, he can count on the help of his teacher, who gives him rewards for his actions, which he reveals periodically on the Twitch platform.

The dog’s owner explains that he trained him daily for about a year, while creating controllers that allowed his animal to interact more easily in the games he played: “Peanut Butter is a dog and can’t easily press two buttons at once because he has no leverage,” he says. he reveals, “To add a little interest, I made them small enough that he had to aim at them precisely.”
The sometimes intensive practice of Peanut Butter speedrunning should also be done based on health: “Every time we’re live, I have to plan his meals because I don’t want to overload him with snacks.” Although very sociable, the dog will not make the trip to the AGDQ stage, due to the cost of the trip. But he will stream his performance live on Twitch.
