Booba, presenting himself as a “whistleblower” who denounces “influvoleurs,” announced a complaint against Magali Berdah for “deceptive business practices.”
“Unusable” elements
According to information from BFMTV, the Paris prosecutor’s office finally decided to dismiss this complaint on November 7. In fact, Booba had filed a complaint with the Grasse prosecutor’s office (Alpes-Maritimes). The latter finally dropped the case in favor of the Paris prosecutor’s office on October 13, 2022. The latter therefore closed the case after an investigation lasting just over a year.
In addition, the same source specifies, Booba’s complaint was directed at other influencers, who were also the subject of DGCCRF (Fraud Suppression) procedures.
In recent months, the DGCCRF has actively communicated on the issue, using the “name and shame” technique, at the initiative of the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire.

In total, 14 influencers were publicly identified for illegal activities, including hidden advertising, but also the promotion of dangerous products, gambling or even products with false health-related claims, such as “anti-waves”. Instagram, for its part, has not adopted any sanctions against the affected influencers.
At the moment, the DGCCRF has never mentioned illegal activities by Magali Berdah, who subsequently faced numerous cyberbullying messages and death threats, with the recent conviction of 28 people. For his part, Booba is currently accused of “aggravated moral harassment” against Magali Berdah and placed under judicial supervision.

“We regret this decision and we do not prohibit ourselves from bringing new elements to justice or continuing the procedure, in particular by filing a complaint with the civil party constitution,” Marie Roumiantseva and Gilles Vercken, Booba’s lawyers, assure BFMTV. .
